If you do decide to hire an animal control company, please be aware that fees often runs into the thousands of dollars, and the industry is not regulated so anyone can call themselves an animal control expert.
There are wildlife control companies that practice a humane approach to wildlife services and, on the opposite scale, those who do not understand the law or do not take the best interest of the animal, or the client into consideration. You should ask them how long they have been in business and ask for references, how they ensure a humane approach, whether they will relocate the animal (which is illegal!), how they will check to see if there are babies, how they will keep babies safe and warm (mom will not collect a cold baby) so mom can move them to a back-up nest, when will they next check on the babies, whether and for how long do they guarantee their work. Email RVWS for our opinion and recommendations on animal control companies.
