The Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary offers longer-term co-op and work term placements for students from March/April to September/October. Opportunities often involve direct animal care, as described in the role of a wildlife rehabilitation intern, but can also be tailored to the needs of the student and their academic program. Please note that we cannot honour short-term placements (e.g. less than 4 weeks) due to the extent and amount of one-on-one one training required.
