Wildlife Rehabilitation Internships

Volunteer as a full-time wildlife rehabilitation intern for three to seven months, between April and November. Interns learn the fundamentals of wildlife rehabilitation and advanced skills under supervision. See the intern description for more details and application instructions.

Co-op and Field Placements

The Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary offers co-op and work term placements for students, both short- and long-term. Opportunities often involve direct animal care, as described in the role of a wildlife rehabilitation intern, but can also be tailored to the needs of the student and their academic program. Please note that placements do not receive an honorarium.

For co-op and field placement opportunities, please send details of the program (e.g. length, hours per day, etc) to info@rideauwildlife.org.
